The Framework for Cultural Success

Your culture should be a source of passion, pride and inspiration for your employees, investors and customers. It should encourage creative decision-making, in order to build commitment and loyalty. A culture that fosters a positive environment in the support of individual growth and development.

Building a Vision:

Both people and organizations need to establish a strategic framework for success. Training and Development is a catalyst to engage in continuous learning and professional growth by aligning programs to the mission, vision and values. The framework consists of:

  • A vision for the future.

  • A mission, defines what you are doing.

  • Values that shape your actions.

  • Strategies that focus on your key success approaches.

  • Goals and actions which guide your actions.

Company employees who understand the mission and goals enjoy a 29% greater return than other firms (Watson Wyatt Work Study). Employees want their work to make a difference, but 75% do not think their company's mission statement is the way they do business. (Workplace 2000 Employee Insight Survey).

Building a Vision Statement:

A vision is a statement about what your organization wants to become. It should resonate throughout the organization and help them feel proud, excited, and part of something much bigger than themselves. A vision should challenge the organization’s capabilities and shape the direction for the future.

A Mission is a description of what an organization does. It describes your business. It is a definition of “why” the organization currently exists.
