Optional
Life Insurance:
Employees’ have
the choice to apply for optional life insurance coverage for
themselves, spouse, and/or eligible children. The employee pays the
total premiums.
Paid Time Off Programs (PTO):
Rather than a
traditional vacation and sick leave program some organizations offer
a Paid Time Off Account (PTO). This program provides employees with
time needed away from their everyday work schedule. The organization
values the employees and recognizes the need for time off for their
family and home life. Under this system an employee may draw upon
their PTO for vacation, sick leave, medical appointments, family
illness or any personal time. This enables the employee to manage
their own time.
Health
Insurance Benefits:
Health Insurance
provides employees and their dependent access to medical, dental and
vision insurance benefits. There are many options to choose from. The two most popular forms of managed care networks
are the health maintenance organization (HMO) and the second
popular is the Preferred Provider organizations (PPO).

determine the health insurance benefits that are the best for your
organization.
Bereavement
Leave:
This benefit is
offered if a death occurs in the employees’ family usually
organizations have a set number of days for immediate family members
and or in-laws.
School or Day Care Activity Leave:
An employee who
is a parent or guardian of a child may request leave without pay or
draw from their vacation account.
Flexible Work Hours:
A flexible
schedule may work based on the following:

is not required to be present during normal working hours.

If job
responsibilities are measured by results rather than by hours.

employee can work longer hours to make up for days off.
